Everything comes down to this.
Gravity Jet Team is one of the ten founding teams of the Jet World Championship, the first civilian fighter-jet combat series. We bring two F-16 Fighting Falcons, two pilots and two gamers. The first season is fourteen Sundays in 2029.
Nine g, every Sunday.
Nine g is where the Falcon lives. Most jets touch that number once and back off. The F-16 can hold it, turn after turn, for a whole Sunday afternoon. We named the team after the force that never lets go, and we plan to use it better than anyone.
Here is how it works. Ten teams. Each one flies two jets, with a pilot in each cockpit and a gamer on the ground running the combat system. On Sunday all twenty jets go up together for a two-hour Grand Battle, and points come from every confirmed shot and every round survived. Our plan is simple: never give away a cheap point.
Next round
The first race the world will see. Two hours over Lusail, Sunday from 2 pm.

Partners get two pilots, two gamers, a jet people film from every angle, and fourteen shots at a podium. Title, Primary, Associate and Digital spots are open for 2029.
Sixteen people. Two Falcons.
A race team is smaller than people think. Two pilots, two gamers, a strategist, a chief mechanic, two inspectors, four crew on the floor, and a few of us on the business side. Everyone on this page flies a jet, fights from the ground or signs off on one.
How a Unit works
In this sport, the basic team is called a Unit: one jet, one pilot, one gamer. The pilot flies. The gamer sits at a station on the ground and runs the combat system, which means the locks, the shots and the flares. Those calls are where points come from. The strategist talks to both of them. We run two Units, and the league has to clear both before either one can race.
Three rules shape how we are built. We fly the same aircraft model all season. We tell the league exactly who is on the roster. And at least two inspectors sign the maintenance log every single day.

A third pilot with the same ratings, and a third gamer cleared by the league. If someone cannot race, the backup is in the seat for Friday morning practice.
Race strategist
The one voice both Units hear during the Grand Battle. Who defends, who attacks, and when to burn flares.
Chief mechanic and inspection team
Two people, named to the league ninety days before the season. Nobody calls a jet ready to fly until they do.
Pit crew
Four people on the floor handling fuel, turnaround, canopy and chocks. Fire-resistant gear at all times. Nobody walks past the engine line without a reason.
Leadership
Fort Worth
Where the Falcon was born.
Every F-16 built in the United States rolled out of a factory on the west side of Fort Worth. Our hangar is ten minutes away, at Alliance Airport. It holds three jets, the gamer stations and a full flight simulator. Plenty of people in this town have spent their whole careers on this aircraft. We hired some of them.
Built to pull nine g, and keep pulling.
The F-16 was the first fighter designed to be unstable on purpose. A computer keeps it flying straight, and the pilot steers with a stick that barely moves. Nothing else a civilian team can enter turns this hard for this long. That is why we picked it.
Why the Falcon
It keeps turning
Most jets can hit nine g for a moment, and they lose speed doing it. The Falcon's wing and engine were designed so it can hold the turn. Over a sixty-second round, that decides who gets shot and who does not.
The pilot flies the computer
The jet wants to pitch up on its own. The flight computer holds it steady. So the pilot does not move flaps and rudders. They ask for a g-load, and the computer delivers it. A built-in limit stops it at nine g, so the pilot can pull as hard as possible without worrying about breaking anything.
The cockpit was built for it
The seat leans back thirty degrees. The stick sits on the right armrest. The pilot's head is low under a clear bubble canopy. All of it is there to keep blood flowing to the brain at nine g, so our pilots can pull hard again and again without blacking out.
The rules allow it
A demilitarized F-16 on the civil register is allowed under the league's technical rules. Azurion flies one too. Nobody else in the field does.

Fourteen Sundays.
The first season opens in Doha right after Eid. From there it moves through the Gulf, Asia, the Americas and Europe, one race at a time. September is off while the jets ship to Asia. The finale is in Miami, the weekend before Thanksgiving.
Round 1, Doha
Lusail. Grand Battle on Sunday, February 24, 2029, at 2 pm local time.
Nobody has raced yet. Starting with Doha, you will find every result here, with both Units' scores and the Unit of the Day.
Testing runs through 2028. First the jets get certified in Fort Worth this fall, then there are three preseason events. None of those count for points.
Ten teams, one table
Both Units score points for the team at every round. The order below is just the 2029 entry list, not a ranking.

How scoring works
Each round lasts sixty seconds. One jet attacks, the other defends, then they switch. The clock runs the full minute no matter what.
| Event | Points | To |
|---|---|---|
| Confirmed hit, up to three per round | +3 | Attacker |
| Made it through the round without being hit | +2 | Defender |
| Broke a lock with flares, up to two per round | +1 | Defender |
| Flew past the safety limits | −3 | penalty |
| Left the race corridor | −3 | penalty |
